Position : SQL DeveloperLocation : Uppal, HyderabadNotice Period : Immediate to Max 7 to 15 days Must Have : SQL, Performance Tuning, Query OptimizationJob Description : We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with a proven track record in performance tuning on SQL Server platforms. The ideal candidate should be a performance tuning guru, particularly focused on optimizing stored procedures, possessing a deep understanding of SQL, data concepts related to programming, and a keen awareness of performance issues. Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and QueryPlan (SQL Execution Plans) is crucial to excel in this role. The SQL Developer will be responsible for enhancing the performance and efficiency of our database systems while collaborating closely with our development and infrastructure teams. Roles and Responsibilities : Candidate must have : - SQL Query Optimization/ Stored Procedure Optimization - Index Management - Database Performance Monitoring - Query Analysis/ Query Cost Reduction - Database Tables Tuning - Performance Testing - Candidate must have Strong Communication. - Good SQL knowledge and knowledge about DML, DDL etc. - Strong SQL skills with regards to writing complex SQL - joins, SQL window functions etc - Stored Procedures and Functions - Strong working knowledge in native SQL store procedures - how to read SP, design optimal SP, create/update SP and deploy SP. - Performance Tuning techniques - query optimization, query execution plans, indexes, JOIN operations, subqueries, and best practices for structuring queries - Good knowledge about indexing - indexes (e.g., clustered, non-clustered), when to use them, and how to balance index maintenance with query performance gains - Database concepts - Should have some understanding about concepts like buffer pools, query optimization algorithms, and locking mechanisms - Performance Monitoring - familiar with how to capture before and after performance stats, how to capture and read and gain insights on performance metrics, identify resource intensive queries. Knowledge about monitoring tools like SQL profiler etc Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience as an SQL Developer with a strong focus on performance tuning, preferably on SQL Server platforms. - In-depth understanding of SQL, relational database concepts, and data manipulation techniques. - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. - Expertise in analyzing and optimizing query execution plans to enhance performance. - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server tools including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and QueryPlan (SQL Execution Plans). - Solid knowledge of database design principles, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques. - Experience with data caching mechanisms and strategies. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose database-related performance issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams. - Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, optimized SQL code.If interested please share the below required information along with your updated resume ASAP :Name Requirement :Contact number :Email :Relevant Experience :Skills :Current CTC :Expecting CTC :Notice Period :Projects Worked On :Availability for interview :Present Location :Preferred Location :Current company :Search Status : (ref:hirist.tech)
