Job Overview We are looking for a skilled SOUTH INDIAN CHEF for one of our leading clients in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. As a SOUTH INDIAN CHEF, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes. This is a full-time position with an employment type of 'Full-Time'. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in South Indian cuisine.
Qualifications And Skills - Proven experience as a South Indian Chef
- Knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create and modify recipes
- Strong culinary management skills
- Experience in restaurant management
- Understanding of the food industry trends and customer preferences
- Knowledge of Kerala cuisine is a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity
Roles And Responsibilities - Prepare and cook delicious and authentic South Indian dishes
- Create new recipes and develop innovative dishes
- Ensure consistent quality and taste of the prepared dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants and apprentices
- Collaborate with the management team to plan menus and daily specials
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests
