Job description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in various stages of each product's lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency. To ensure success as a DevOps Engineer, you should ensure that all outputs remain safe for public consumption.

Candidate Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (ex: Computer Science, IT), Master's degree or other advanced degree is preferred
• 5+ years of AWS DevOps experience managing B2B/B2C SaaS products (platform)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certificate is Mandatory
• Expertise in DevOps management of SaaS-based ed-tech or health-tech platforms will be an added advantage
• Experience in configuration management tools
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• 3+ years of Experience / Knowledge of Java web/application servers, Big Data tools stack, and databases such as NeptuneDB, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.
• Experience in deploying and managing big data and cloud applications in the production environment.
• Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding Lambda Architecture and its advantages and drawbacks will be a definite plus.
• Should possess good analytical and interpersonal communication skills. Able to write and communicate effectively
• Experience using an array of automation tools.
• Familiarity with software security methods.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills & excellence in verbal & written communication
