Job Title: Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain the software deployment infrastructure.
Work with development teams to automate and streamline the build, test, and release process.
Design and implement tools and processes to improve the efficiency of the software development life cycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the software deployment process.
Monitor the health of the software deployment process and identify areas for improvement.
Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the software deployment field.
Research and evaluate new software deployment tools and technologies.
Implement new software deployment tools and technologies.
Train other staff members on the use of new software deployment tools and technologies.
Write documentation on the use of new software deployment tools and technologies.
Assist in the development of software deployment policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
3 years' experience in a technical role, with at least 2 years in a DevOps or similar environment.
Experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or a similar tool.
Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
Proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
Excellent development skills.
Exceptional problem-solving attitude.
Excellent managerial skills and strong work ethics.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring tools, such as Nagios, New Relic, or Data dog.
Experience with database administration for MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with source control tools, such as Git or SVN.
