JOB SUMMARY-
As a Regional Head, you will be managing the team in the south region and drive the identified goals via market intelligence and innovative ideas to position Disney+ Hotstar as a choice of platform for advertisers and agencies.
ABOUT THE TEAM-
The Mid-market Ad sales team caters to the large, mid-tier and emerging clients across categories and works closely with them to solve their marketing goals through custom solutions on Disney+ Hotstar. Our team works closely with the clients to understand their business and marketing goals and then provide solutions across the vast landscape of the Disney+ Hotstar ads ecosystem, which work for the client and also help secure ad revenues for Disney+ Hotstar as a platform. Wide client coverage and deep client extraction are both equally important.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a GTM plan including research, develop case studies, public speaking opportunities that are relevant to the industry
- Owning and driving activation, adoption and sales of Disney+ Hotstar across the client portfolio and strategizing on business plan focused on new business development for the south market
- Own the corporate relationships and business target for key advertisers in the south region
- Develop and articulate a compelling Mid-Market strategy along with the MM Head and Ad Sales Leadership, aligned with organizational goals
- Manage and lead a high-performing sales team, emphasizing strategic thinking and client relationship management to drive ad sales revenue from MM clients in the region
- Create and manage sales goals and objectives for your sales team, emphasizing both immediate client activation and sustained long-term growth
- Develop scalable solutions for clients to optimize their usage of Disney+ Hotstar products
- Map, develop and grow the key decision makers and influencers in the region and leverage Disney+ Hotstar's unique audience insights and content offerings to drive revenue growth
- Develop strategic plans and prepare and conduct growth presentations basis the trend analysis and client performance
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise-level customers across industries in the region
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments, providing tailored solutions to address client challenges and ensure long-term satisfaction
- In this role, you will work closely with the internal sales strategy team, internal agency team for conceptualization & execution of long-term deals for your accounts
- Identifying up and coming categories and sectors and increasing Disney+ Hotstar's outreach amongst them
- Increase market share utilizing a consultative sales approach, competitor analysis, emerging tech solutions and opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts, providing strategic insights to adapt and enhance sales strategies accordingly
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTE FOR SUCCESS
- Understanding Key account management principles / consultative selling will be an added advantage
- Should be both a category & a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets
- Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations
- Concise yet inspiring communicator
- Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network, and have effective negotiations, and utilizing these to drive new business
- Persistence to drive sales from exploration to deal closures
- Ability to lead teams and drive revenue targets through effective leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Abreast of current and upcoming trends among brands and the industry
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- MBA with12-14 years of total experience with at least 8 years in team management across sales, business development, account management and client relationship management with an understanding of digital sales background.
