Job description
Department:Electrical – Motors EngineeringRequired Attributes/Skills:Lead the team of engineers to :
1. Handle Motor Product Enquiries/Application engineering or Proposals as per Sales function/business Requirements,
2. Carryout/review EM design to optimize the motors for a given spec.
3. Work with the Sales team/Customers to clarify any technical queries
4. On receipt of Orders for Motors (synchronous or Induction) handle order execution process as per sales/PPC schedules working along with Mechanical design team which includes – EM design, Customer document submission, Design reviews, Drawings/spec/BOM creation as per production schedule, review of test results and machine clearance for dispatch, liaising with QA, Servicing, Manufacturing sourcing and participating in management reviews.Tools Knowledge:EM Design tools such as RMXprt, Speed, MotorCad etc, ACAD handson, Circuit Simulation tools like matlab, simulink, EMTP etc.
