Your Profile
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering
- 2+ years experience in performing Stability Analysis and Motion Analysis
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record in performing Intact/Damage Stability analysis using GHS/SARC PIAS/DELFTSHIP
- Proven track record in performing motion analysis using Octopus/Seaway/MOSES
- OrcaFlex experience desired not essential
- Basic AutoCAD 2D drafting skills essential
- Basic programming knowledge (python, VB) desired
- Independent, project responsible and client focused
- Enthusiastic, driven and willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Responsibilities
- Interface with clients to understand project requirements and finalize boundary conditions of the analysis
- Perform stability analysis, motion analysis and mooring analysis independently
- Prepare simple 2D drawings in AutoCAD to illustrate the results of the analysis (for example, ballasting plan, mooring arrangement etc.)
