We specialize in wind turbine structures, solar structures, rehabilitation/retrofitting of structures, and many more. Our design strategy is based on optimization of the foundation design considering structures as interacting elements with soil using the best FEA tools such as ABAQUS Unified, ANSYS Fluent, MATLAB, etc. The company is located in Chennai.

Role Description

This is a full-time Safety Engineer role The Safety Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving occupational health and safety procedures, providing security and safety training, developing and enforcing construction safety policies, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Safety Engineer will be required to be on-site and work alongside construction teams to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor in any branch of Engineering. Diploma in fire safety/ Hazard Management / Industrial Safety Management or related courses.

Location

Various Project Sites across India (Maharashtra / Karnataka )

Responsibilities

• Safety Engineering and Occupational Health expertise
• Knowledge of security and safety training techniques
• Experience developing and enforcing construction safety policies
• Strong understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in the renewable energy industry is an added advantage (wind)
• GWO Certified in Work at Height / Manual Handling / First Aid / Fire Awareness is a plus
• Monitoring, updating, review and auditing of the Company QHSE SystemsÂ
• Assists the Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health, Safety and Environment at work
• Conducts safety audits across sites.
• Takes part in accident / incident investigation and carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
• Performs Risk Assessment and suggests solutions for handling QHSE related issues based on own knowledge
• Taking care of Projects QHSE documentation and sharing same within time with all the stakeholders (e.g. projects, customers, subcontractors etc)
