Job description

Job Purpose:

As a Field Sales Executive for a Gearbox Manufacturing Company, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth in the designated territory. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, promoting the company's gearbox products, and achieving sales targets. This position requires a strong understanding of gearboxes and their applications, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

● Identify and prospect potential customers in the assigned territory through various sources such as market research, referrals, cold calling, and networking.

● Willing to travel across city/state/country depending for sales opportunity and potential customers.

● Conduct sales presentations to highlight the features, benefits, and value proposition of the company's gearbox products.

● Develop and present customized sales proposals and quotes to prospective customers to meet their specific needs.

● Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of sales agreements to maximize revenue and maintain profitability.

● Conduct regular customer visits to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide technical support and solutions.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and procurement professionals in target industries.

● Make sure the client's payments are received as per the committed payment terms.

● Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights to the sales manager.

● Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and take corrective actions when necessary.

Qualification:

B.Tech (Mechanical), MBA (Sales & Marketing) will be preferred.
Required Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes, their applications, and relevant industries.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales productivity tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Relevant Experience:

Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the gearbox or related industry.
