Job Title: Scientific Manager Plant Pathology
Division: Dr Krishi
Job Description:
- Design crop monitoring protocols and advice for prevention of stresses.
- Expertise in Agrochemical mode of action and dose recommendations.
- Need to develop methods to control pests to keep a set of crops disease-free.
- To design protocol for detecting and diagnosing biotic stresses in multiple crops.
- Knowledge on lab designing,establishment of diagnostic facilities,innovative diagnostic tool development for rapid testing, budgeting,plant quarantine management system.
- Develop scientific contents for respective projects.
- Prepare presentations for ongoing scientific product development.
- To manage subject specific scientific staff and support scientific officers to solve data related queries.
- To help the senior manager for managing a large team (20-25) of technical staff.
- To assist monitoring the activities of staff posted at regional offices and coordinate for smooth execution of work at regional offices.
- Take an active interest in the activities relating to the department.
- Meet all compliances and reporting requirements.
- Adhere to CropData Technology Private Limited policies and procedures including HR policies, quality maintenance policies, IPR policies, etc.
- Executing any other work as and when arises in the interest of the company as well as for the benefit of the farming community.
Candidate Profile:
- More Than 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Expertise in idealizing research and technical projects and dynamic attitude towards role.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite for analyzing and interpreting data gathered from various resources and regional locations.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills.
- Innovative ideas for complex solutions.
Master™s degree in relevant discipline.
Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Experience: 6 + Years

Key Skills (Mandatory): Plant Pathology, Sample diagnosis, MS-Office Tools, Good English Key Skills (Good to have): Agritech, Data analysis, Quantitative & amp Qualitative research, Literature search, Innovative thinking.
