Job description
As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client's satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.
- The Pre-Sales Leader supports Oracle Consulting Pre-Sales teams across Consulting regions and other Oracle entities by putting together end-to-end solution architecture for large multi pillar transformation deals in response to RFPs.
- Works in a collaborative environment with the country Pre-Sales / License / Cluster Leaders, Pre-Sales Leads and Client Engagement Managers (CEMs)
- Operates at a Consulting region level with a strong understanding of client's industry (e.g Financial Services, Telecommunications, Public Sector, etc.) and expertise in Oracle product suite.
- Liaises with Client Engagement Managers (CEMs) to increase attach with Consulting pipeline.
- Works with multiple stakeholders / teams comprising of Architects, SME's, Technical Writers, Review board, Approving Authority to ensure that reviews are submitted in a timely manner.
- Drives end-to-end bid management of multi-pillar deals, stitches together the entire bid pack and proposal to be submitted to Consulting.
- Champions IP asset reuse to create a compelling value proposition that significantly improves competitiveness and helps deal conversion.
- Drives excellence through continuous improvement of pre-sales processes by bringing in best practices, effective use of available resources and increased automation.
- Diligently applies / complies with the defined processes and ensures consistently across the board.
- Provides regular updates to the Reporting Manager, CEMs, LoB Head and Mgmt Team on status of deals.
- Presents Win-Loss & Competitive analysis, seeks timely inputs / assistance from all stakeholders to build a compelling proposition on bids.
- Will adhere to all presales data and system updates
