Role Overview:
The Finance Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance departments operations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong financial knowledge analytical skills and leadership capabilities to assist in managing financial processes and contributing to the companys financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis including variance analysis trend identification and performance metrics tracking.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management.
2.Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support the budgeting process by gathering data preparing budget proposals and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Assist in financial forecasting and provide insights for decisionmaking
3.Financial Reporting:
- Aid in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in coordinating audits and ensuring adherence to auditing standards.
4.Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the finance department.
- Assist in implementing improvements to streamline financial operations.
5.Team Support and Leadership:
- Collaborate with finance team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff fostering their professional development.
6.Ad Hoc Projects:
- Contribute to special projects such as financial system upgrades or process restructuring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; Master s degree or CPA preferred.
- X years of experience in finance or accounting with exposure to financial analysis and reporting.
- Sound knowledge of financial principles regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial software ERP systems and MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
