Job Title: Senior Accountant Salary:- 5 to 6 LPA Location:- Thane-Mumbai
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: Requirements : - Semi-qualified (Inter CA) with 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting domain in a mid-size company. OR - CA fresher with experience in a mid-size CA firm as an article clerk. - Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally, with additional experience in other accounting software being an added advantage. - Sound knowledge of Direct Tax (TDS/Income Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST), along with statutory compliance. - Experience in assisting in book closing and preparation of MIS and cash flow statements. - Proficiency in debtors and creditors control/aging analysis. - Experience in team management. - Assisted in internal and statutory audits. - Knowledge of fixed assets and depreciation. - Working knowledge of INDAS is considered an added advantage. Responsibilities : - Manage day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, billing, and collections. - Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with all tax laws and regulations. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary support and documentation. - Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. - Conduct regular reviews of accounting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. - Assist in the implementation of accounting software upgrades and enhancements. - Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
