Job description
- Generating purchase order for all bought-out and casting parts.
- Ensure the agreed price & lead time given to suppliers in the PO copy.
- Maintain master price list for all bought and casting parts.
- Ensure the timely entering of orders into the sales order processing system and verifying that all data is checked and accurate.
- Presenting the latest revision of standards, drawing revision & other specification to all suppliers.
- Negotiating with supplier for the best delivery and prices.
- Knowledge in material handling, testing, inspection, and understand the drawing speciation and communicate to supplier.
- Obtain price and delivery.
- Coordinate third parties / vendors for the execution of the project.
- Ensuring & Ordering AA & A parts in staggered manner to improve delivery frequency.
- Rate the vendors periodically & receive feedback for improvement.
- Improve the supplier payment terms wherever possible.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Keen knowledge of valve related technology and industry is an advantage;
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field;
- Shows a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 (or previous 18001 or 14001 systems).
- Knowledge of the ISO 9000 / 2015 standard is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with all contacts in a matrix fast-paced business and proven good judgment.
- Knowledge in Oracle
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret purchase orders, vendor catalogs, supplier correspondence, etc
- Ability to set priorities, make calculated decisions and focus on results.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
