Job Description
Responsibilities
Location- Bengaluru, Hybrid Model
· Supporting growing desktop virtualization environment, ensuring industry standard methodologies and operating procedures are met.
· Responsible for following change control procedures to plan/test/implement infrastructure and application changes in coordination with business partners.
· Proactively monitor VDI environments (VCenter) for performance (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network)
· Windows desktop OS image creations, customization of features and deployment across the enterprise.
· Create software packages via various methods including packaging for physical and virtual desktops (VDI) for automated unattended deployments
· Isolate, reproduce, and diagnose technical issues in VMware Horizon View Infrastructure and its components. Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to desktop architecture and design
· Proactively monitor VDI environments (VCenter) for performance (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network)
· Writing, developing, and administering Group Policies (GPO's) in an Active Directory environment
· Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Microsoft products including Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Azure Active Directory
· Works with Solution Architect to create architecture and implementation plans

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field.
· Strong enterprise level technical support experience in VMware Horizon View 7.x production environments or a similar Virtual Desktop technology with 5+ years' experience
· Competent enterprise level technical support experience in Windows Server VDI environments (2012-2019)
· Working knowledge of vCenter and ESXi host administration in an enterprise environment
· Experience managing and maintaining master/golden images
· Experience with FSLogix, DEM, App Volumes
· Knowledgeable in using performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools like vSphere
· Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
· Basic knowledge of WAN & LAN, VLANs, Ethernet, TCP/IP and general networking
· Knowledge of patch management
· Strong diagnostic and root cause analysis skills
· Power-shell Scripting experience a plus
· Experience in using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow

· VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM)
· Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS/SCCM-Intune)
· Azure AZ-900 Fundamentals
· Microsoft MD-100: Windows Client
· Microsoft MD101: Managing Modern Desktops
· Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
· Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
