JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our company. The BDM will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of automation & audio-visual products to architects, interior designers, contractors, and end-users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales within the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a team for managing current and upcoming physical stores and estore (website).
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities by establishing and nurturing relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to educate clients on the features and benefits of our products.
- Understand client requirements, provide expert advice, and recommend suitable solutions that align with their design vision and project specifications.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations to prospective clients, addressing their specific needs and ensuring accurate pricing and specifications.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and opportunities to convert them into successful sales.
- Collaborate closely with the design and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of our solutions within the overall project scope.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and emerging technologies in the technology industry to effectively advise clients and maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and build a strong professional network.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and forecasts to the management team.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the electronics, building interiors industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong drive for success.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry professionals.
- Proficient in using CRM, POS software and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.
- Willingness to travel within Jaipur and nearby regions as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
