Job Description for Senior Supply Chain Manager

Pre-requisite

 Essential Qualification: Graduate + MBA/PG in Supply Chain from Premier B School

 Experience: 4–6 Years of relevant experience

 Excellent communication skills, Strong Analytical and Data Crunching Ability, Subject Matter Expertise, Team player, Self-Motivating, Go Getter, High in Collaboration, Ability to deliver under pressure situations

Role Description –

This role is critical role within Supply Chain function and have responsibilities in areas of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Distribution and Inventory Management processes for B2B Supply Chain. Role will interact with Key Senior leaders and Function heads in cross functional team and will coordinate multiple priorities to ensure excellent Stock Availability, Near Perfect Distribution and Excellent customer service and stakeholder management

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

• Work closely with Sales team for Forecasting & Demand planning and driving S&OP Process
• Plan Material requirement by analyzing sale forecast and production / spare plan and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials.
• Scientific Defining the Stock Norms at each Depot and Continuous replenishment planning to avoid any Stock out Situation of the material
• Assess and report the forecast accuracy for each business unit.- Work with Sales & Planning team to improve demand forecast accuracy
• Effective Transition Planning- Phase In Phase Out and Left Over management optimisation.
• Responsible for weekly MRP Run to ensure timely availability of Material.
• Monitor and maintain Material Master and purchasing planning master data in ERP for accurate output of MRP.
• Control over-stocking and stock-out situations avoiding production and financial losses.
• Schedule and provision of materials to the depot in time and quantity in Line with the Stock Norm requirement.
• Continuous adjustment of planning parameters at Depot (eg lot sizes, Product Replenishment Lead Time)
• Ensure timely deliveries of FG to all customers as per their requirements
• Responsible for entire inventory management function:

• • Monitoring Purchase orders to suppliers
  • Monitoring and Controlling the Incoming material
  • Facilitate with vendors to develop and / or improve further

B2B Channel Fulfillment & Customer Service

• Responsible for all B2B Channel Fulflillments- GT, MT, EBO, Ecommerce
• Responsible for Exports & CSD Planning and Inventory availability
• Ensure Healthy Fill Rates and Interact with Customer Supply Chain teams for Forecasting and Supply Planning related processes
• Responsible for Customer Reconciliations process wrt to Shortages/RTV/Reconciliations, Setup efficient and effective tracking mechanism

Distribution Planning and Replication

• Responsible for Entire Range Availability across Depot at individual SKU level.
• Ensure the Inventory replication across entire DC network in line with Supply Chain Strategy, which leads to very high inventory Availability across network
• Responsible for Distribution cost targets delivery led by effective inventory management and Distribution planning process

Inventory Management

• Responsible for Working Capital Management of All Private Label Brands
• Ensure Right Distribution of Inventory in ABC Class SKUs
• Proactive liquidation of Inventory falling in < 15 Months Aging bucket and liason with Stakeholders for timely execution of aligned actions

Digitization & Process Improvement

• Drive Supply chain digitization projects related to Planning & Procurement
• Design sustainable process structures to bring in efficiencies and reduce NVA
• Optimize analytical effectiveness of existing tools by using statistical & advanced supply chain logics.

Performance Deliverables (Key Result Areas)

• Ensure 95% + availability across all Regional Warehouses
• Ensure 95% OSA at Respective Sales Channels (Ecomm, BA Stores, MT, EBOs, D2C)
• Maintain 95+% compliance on Service level from vendors
• Deliver Inventory management KPIs on Overall Inventory cost, Aging and Expiry/Damages
• Work closely with Logistics team to delivery Primary and Secondary movement costs
• 95% Availability for Exports and CSD channels
• Ensure RM and PM Availability at Key Suppliers, Delivery of Production Planning & Inventory Management KPIs

Requisite Skill Set:

• Strong Demand Planning & Primary distribution Experience and technical acumen
• Very high efficiency and effectiveness on Excel & PowerPoint
• Superior Analytical skills with capability of handling large and complex data sets
• Quality Consciousness
• SAP Knowledge (B1/HANA)
• Process knowledge related to supply chain
• Team Leader, Ability to Manage large team of 6-8 Resources
• Self-Driven, Motivated Individual with Go-getter attitude, ability to handle pressure situations
• Ability to Influence & manage senior leadership
