Location – Hyderabad

About the Role:

Strong technical profile, functioning as bridge between business and IT. SME in ERP projects – SAP SD. Manage business process implementations in ERP systems (changes, enhancements as well as new solutions), train and support users, identify areas of improvement and develop and promote respective solutions. Ensure process and SAP knowledge is continuously enlarged and applied in order to fully leverage the value of the integrated SAP system and to achieve high level of service, cost efficiency, quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:


• Understand, elaborate, and implement Order Management & International trade (NITAG Supply Chain) Business Processes related to assigned topics.
• Ensure that NITAG Supply Chain Business Processes are properly implemented in ERP.
• Participate in and/or lead projects for implementation of new/ modified functionality, SAP modules, interfaces with other IT applications.
• Propose process and system improvements in order to enhance business effectiveness and efficiency with a special focus on automation.
• Specify user requirements for ERP projects and enhancements in ERP areas.
• Testing local/global ERP functionality - test cases documented for new/changed processes.
• Dealing with issues, serve as escalation level for end-users. Provide second level support to users incl. diagnosis and resolution.
• Raising tickets for Incidents, Service Requests and Business Support with the Center of Excellence, SPOC to COE in SAP Solution Manager for NITAG Supply Chain related topics. Manage from creation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with cGxP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within functional area.
• Ensure business data consistency by regular monitoring of ERP/SAP application interfaces, batch, and print jobs.
• Perform required corrective measurements or escalate to next level support.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in a SAP technical role, preferably in Supply Chain module.
• Experience in SAP usage (advanced user knowledge), IT or Super User experience.
• Ideally some ERP Project management experience. Ideally in x-functional projects and in healthcare industry
• Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex, cross-functional, and global environment
• Profound knowledge of SAP functionalities on a technical level: programs, configurations, workflows, idoc configuration, interfaces etc.
• Some ABAP skills is a must: comfortable with decoding in ABAP, ideally proficient in debugging. (Development not required)
• Awareness of computer system validation requirements and methodological aspects of ERP implementation projects. Affinity for IT applications and solutions.
• Ideally, combined with a good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes, especially controlled aspects in Health Care industry. Full appreciation of x-functional aspects especially with Finance, Quality. Full understanding of regulatory, GxP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Well structured, good analytical and conceptual thinking. Strong process-orientation incl. ability to define and document business processes.
• Open communicator, strong customer, and user orientation and influencing skills, team player.
• In projects, able to set clear direction and align team and other around common objectives. Consistent application of good project management practices.
• Strong orientation towards actions, solutions, and results.

Desirable Requirements:
• Higher education (Bachelor’s or master’s degree) in IT, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Science (Chemistry, Pharmacy). Additional SAP trainings (internal and/or external)
