Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and refine technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future projects.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in the gaming sector, evaluating their applicability to enhance the company's technical capabilities.

Provide monthly presentations and reports to senior management on the status of the TechOps department, highlighting achievements, challenges, and project updates.

Guide and participate in developing and implementing training programs and personalized development plans for the team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Ensure strict compliance with GDPR rules and regulations, implementing necessary processes and safeguards.

Oversee day-to-day operations of the TechOps team, ensuring the smooth functionality of systems, infrastructure, and game technicality.

Regularly update stakeholders on TechOps projects, incidents, and improvements, fostering transparency and collaboration.

Monitor infrastructure costs, optimize resources, and analyze infrastructure utilization, providing recommendations for scaling strategies.

Collaborate with finance and project teams to budget and forecast infrastructure costs accurately.

Oversee version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Collaborate with game developers to optimize server performance and costs, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.

Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure game servers' uptime, performance, and health.

Rapidly respond to incidents, outages, and performance issues, working closely with QA and development teams to troubleshoot technical issues.

Manage SDK requirements, data validation, testing, and updates to enhance game functionality.

Oversee in-game marketing channels, including events, timers, link uptime, etc.

Coordinate with external partners for game integrations, including deep linking, voice chat integrations, etc.

Ensure the continuous uptime of the web store, facilitating uninterrupted user experiences.

Conduct regular security audits, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities to safeguard against external threats.
Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, development or a related field is often required.

4-6 years of relevant experience in Technical Operations or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, server optimization, integration and technical troubleshooting.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
