Position
General Accountant cum Admin
Requirement
· Bachelor's/ Master's degree in accounts or related field .
· Minimum 3+ years of Experience in General Accounting
· Preferably having experience working with Software companies
· Good working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collections
· Good verbal and written communication with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external customers
· Well verse in Microsoft Office and hands-on experience and familiarity with accounting software
· Proactive and strong analytical problem solving skills and attention to detail in both financial and admin works
Accounting Responsibilities
· Responsible for managing accounting transactions, preparing financial reports which include TB, P&L and Balance sheet, and overseeing various administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of the organization
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Record daily transactions, including AP, AR and general ledger entries.
· Reconcile bank, Petty Cash, and credit card statements on time.
· Prepare financial statements, including Trail Balance, balance sheet and income statements.
· Process bank payments and issue PDC to suppliers whenever it's required.
· Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors.
· Prepare, raise, and send purchase order & invoices.
· Manage end to end functions of AP & AR
· Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments. Report on the status of accounts receivable and payable to Finance manager on daily basis.
· Prepare and file VAT returns and submit forms due on a timely manner. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and update internal accounting spreadsheets/ data base.
· Reconciliation of bank loans and calculation of bank loan accruals.
Administrative Responsibilities
· Handle day-to-day office operations. Manage office supplies, ensure equipment are working fine and facilities. Ensure a well-stocked and organized workspace. Manage office maintenance and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
· Renewal of licenses, insurance policies, mobile connections etc. on time.
· Occasionally arrange temporary accommodation for employees travelling to Dubai from India or elsewhere.
· Assist HR to book flight tickets and Visa's on time.
· Any other admin work
