Job description
SDET Architect1. Test Automation Architecture : - Design and architect test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or a combination of these tools based on project requirements.- Define and implement best practices for test automation, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and efficiency of the test suite.- Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for test automation.2. Test Planning and Strategy : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.- Develop testing strategies to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.- Provide input on the testability of features during the design and development phases.3. Test Automation Development : - Write and review automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or other relevant tools.- Implement reusable components and libraries to streamline test script development.- Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing.4. DevOps Integration : - Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.- Implement automated deployment and testing processes to achieve faster and more reliable releases.- Work on infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management to support testing environments.5. Performance and Load Testing : - Design and implement performance and load testing strategies using appropriate tools.- Analyze and optimize application performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.6. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of quality goals.- Communicate test results, progress, and issues to project stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.7. Mentoring and Training : - Provide guidance and mentorship to test automation engineers and other team members.- Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's skills in test automation and related technologies.8. Continuous Improvement : - Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation and DevOps.- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.9. Test Data Management : - Define and implement strategies for managing test data, ensuring data consistency and accuracy in test environments.10. Security Testing : - Collaborate with security teams to integrate security testing into the overall test strategy.- Implement security testing practices within the automation framework.
