Job description
Role Purpose: Provides support for training and educational programs in connection with management, on-the-job training, and employee orientation, including registration, materials, billing, evaluation, and reporting. Maintains records of training activities and associate progress. Monitors effectiveness of programs. Arranges for outside services, such as training materials, audio visual requirements, meals and refreshments, facilities, and other services required for course facilitation. Assembles and distributes course materials as required for each type of program. May assist in the design and development of in-house and/or online courses. Key Accountabilities: To support the delivery of learning and development strategy to drive business improvement and enable DSC to nurture our talent to achieve business objectives and personal development. To execute strategies to develop talent within the organisation through innovative and cost effective means, that strengthens our position as a preferred employer. To support the L&D HOD to shape and drive talent development and rewards and recognition initiatives across the country in support of the current and long term business objectives and business growth. Create Training programs to address skill gaps in employees. Develop onboarding programs for new employees. Conduct surveys to gauge the effectiveness of programs. Required Education and Experience: Overall 6 yrs+ experience in Supply Chain preferably in 3 PL industry, Minimum 3 yrs. in the behavioral trainings. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education , or a related field Proven experience as an HR Trainer or in a similar role within the HR field. Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices. Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to adapt to the evolving HR landscape and incorporate modern training techniques.
