looking for IVR Lab technologist for an IVR lab in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Description:

The IVF Lab Technologist, also known as an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Technologist, plays a crucial role in assisting reproductive medicine specialists and embryologists in the IVF laboratory. This position involves a range of responsibilities related to the handling and processing of human reproductive materials, including oocytes, sperm, and embryos. The IVF Lab Technologist ensures that all laboratory procedures adhere to established protocols, maintain quality standards, and prioritize patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Gamete Handling:
Responsible for the preparation, examination, and handling of oocytes (eggs) and sperm samples.
Maintain precise records of gamete identification and tracking.

Fertilization Techniques:
Perform insemination procedures, including conventional insemination and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Monitor fertilization and early embryo development.

Embryo Culture:
Maintain and monitor incubators and controlled environment systems for optimal embryo culture.
Record embryo growth and development stages.

Cryopreservation:
Be proficient in vitrification and cryopreservation techniques for oocytes, sperm, and embryos.
Monitor and manage cryopreserved specimen inventory.

Quality Control:
Regularly calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Keep meticulous records of all procedures and results.

Laboratory Safety:
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
Handle hazardous materials and chemicals following safety guidelines.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures, observations, and results.
Ensure that patient information is handled confidentially and in compliance with data protection regulations.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with reproductive endocrinologists, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Attend team meetings and provide input on laboratory procedures and outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, clinical laboratory science, or a related discipline).
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience working in an IVF laboratory is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional manual dexterity.
Knowledge of reproductive biology and embryology is advantageous.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
Understanding of and compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
