Job Description

As a Travel Consultant at our company, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. You will work closely with travelers to understand their preferences, provide expert advice, and create customized itineraries to meet their needs. This role requires the ability to work in both UK and US shifts to accommodate our global client base.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation: Engage with clients via phone, email, and chat to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.

Itinerary Planning: Create personalized travel itineraries that align with clients' interests and budgets, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.

Reservation Management: Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services for clients while ensuring accuracy and adherence to their preferences.

Travel Assistance: Provide clients with essential travel information, including visa requirements, travel insurance options, and destination-specific advice.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve client inquiries, concerns, and issues related to their travel plans, both pre-trip and during their travels.

Sales and Upselling: Promote additional services, upgrades, and travel-related products to enhance clients' travel experiences and increase revenue.

Stay Informed: Stay updated on travel trends, regulations, and industry developments to provide clients with the most current information.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and payments in our CRM system.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry.

Strong knowledge of popular travel destinations, airlines, and accommodation options.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathize with clients' needs.

Proficiency in travel reservation systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).

Ability to work flexible hours, including night and US shifts.

Sales and upselling skills are a plus.

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience

1 year experience required in travel sales and consultancy

Working Days

5 days working from office

Salary
