Position DRE Trims- Seating
CAD Software’s Catia V5, NX Bachelors Degree/automobile/ production/ polymer engineering with prior plastic part design experience of minimum 5-6 & more than 8 years in CAD Software’s (CATIA & UG ). Automotive industry background Prior plastic part design experience & tooling knowledge of minimum 6 years in relevant engineering domains (interiors, acoustics etc.) Prior Complete Seat design experience & tooling knowledge of minimum 4 - 5 years in relevant engineering domains (Seatings, interiors, exteriors etc). Result-oriented team player with strong communication skills in English and or any other foreign language. Hands on experience on Seating Plastic parts and Foam design Own and update Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met. Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs. Thorough training/knowledge in program specific CAD software. Execute design for manufacturing process and coordinate assembly process with manufacturing engineering. Design and Release engineer in meeting program objectives for their components with respect to cost, weight, performance, quality, timing, manufacturing etc., Thorough experience in designing in required domain, i.e. Seating Good knowledge of CAD Methodology and best practices.
