Responsibilities:

 

The Destination Manager/ Assistant Manager is accountable for client development, counselling skills in–country, application quality control and client wise analytics and management of one or more destinations. The responsibility can be for multiple countries and/or the region. All these will directly impact the delivery of student placement volumes and client satisfaction. This role is central to the delivery of revenue and profit objectives and will work with the region/country/destination/office teams towards establishing IDP as an admired and respected service provider for the destination.

Key Responsibilities;

Person Specification:

 

o Educated to degree level or equivalent.

o Demonstrated high level skills and experience in marketing and client management with a track record of success that indicates high level business acumen and an entrepreneurial approach.

o Highly effective relationship building and relationship management skills.

o Experienced in training material development and training delivery.

o Experience within relevant destination country education sector.

o Analytical and reporting skills – able to interpret and present data effectively.

o Highly effective planning and organising, managing multiple competing priorities.

o Excellent communication skills across all key channels – oral (including presentations), written and non verbal.

o Practical experience in managing diverse stakeholders – with diverse interests – to their satisfaction, but always keeping to the ultimate goals of the organisation.

o Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions and act in the best interests of IDP.

o Strategic aptitude and the ability to understand the big picture.

Sound IT skills – Microsoft Office, CRM systems
