A Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at a Job Level 3 typically involves a mid-level position with 3-7 years of experience and possess a strong SRE mindset would love to envisage platform adoption and hands on with Cloud tools and tech stacks like Kubernetes, Observability Architecture - logs, metrics and tracing with SRE principles
We are looking for someone who is,
- Well versed in kubernetes and azure ecosystem
- Possess strong understanding on Cloud Native Observability Platform and its architecture
- Logs - Loki and creating log based metrics
- Metrics - Prometheus - strong in writing promql expressions
- Distributed Tracing - OpenTelemetry Tracing for java runtimes preferably
- Alerting - General alerting techniques and preemptive alerting apis developments using Golang/Python preferably
- Runtime languages - Golang, Python, Java, Shell script
- CI/CD Pipeline - Github Actions workflows, FluxCD, Helm charts, Kustomize
Good to have skills include,
- Working experience on kubernetes operators and knowledge on admission controllers & custom webhooks
- Strong working experience on OpenTelemetry and Grafana Api's with custom developments
