Job Description Press Ganey's Product and Engineering team is looking for a talented FrontEnd / UI Developer to join our fast-paced, growth stage company at the center of healthcare innovation. As we continue to grow one of the largest repositories of opinion content and consumer feedback in healthcare, we are advancing our system's deep analytics of unstructured content to power our suite of products.
As a FrontEnd / UI Developer, you will help develop the next generation of our apps using tools such as React.js, Redux, Webpack and PHP. You should be familiar with PHP, JavaScript and its ecosystem. You will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.
Duties And Responsibilities - Developing new user-facing features using React.js that are highly responsive
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Construct visualizations that are able to depict vast amounts of data
- Work and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team
- Work with product team and graphic designers
- Learn and understand user interactions
Qualifications - Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
- Proficiency with browser based debugging and performance testing
- Must possess analytical skills and be detailed oriented
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Minimum experience of 5-6 years in the above.
- BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc Computer Science or equivalent
Bonus – Skills of Interest: AWS, Groovy, JUnit (and related technologies), Java ReST, Big Data Technologies, Message Queuing
