Job description

Role Summary: Overseeing library operations, library applications, and Management Software. Designing the new library services to support research and teaching. Manage online resources, including procurement and usage analysis. Responsibilities: The person will be responsible for managing library operations and library applications. The person should have operational knowledge of Metadata, Citation tools, Plagiarism checks and AI technology to be used in the library. The person will manage electronic resources, frequently generating usage reports. Analysing the library statistics and managing the license agreements. The person will design new library services and create user awareness. Key Skills: Relevant experience in Library/office management. Knowledge of different kinds of library resources. Library requirement analysis and Collection management. Library services assessment, Emerging trends in Library services.

Qualification: Candidate should be a Ph.D. or NET or SLET/SET qualified. First Class (60% or above) in MLISc or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Overall, 15 years of relevant experience, with 10 years or more in a University library in an Assistant Librarian Position or Librarian in a college library of repute.
