Job description
The qualified technical support specialist will possess strong customer service abilities assisting ZPE Systems customers with technical issues or questions relating to all ZPE products and features. Their duties include taking phone calls from customers or communicating with them through email to create tickets in order to help customers diagnose technical issues.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelors degree in Computer Science or related IT field (will consider undergrad students)
- Strong customer service and understanding problem skills to answer to client issues
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- knowledge of Linux and basic networking ( IP Structure, Protocols, Network Devices )
- Must be productive, helpful, and enthusiastic in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a related IT Help Desk or technical customer service position is desirable
Responsibilities:
- 24/7 Customer Service coverage for ZPE products and features
- Will work in shifts, in rotation. There will be night shifts.
- Answer emails via Ticket system
- Answer phone calls and log into Ticket system with as much information as possible.
- Provide possible solutions, ask for more data, to understand the issue being reported
- Participate in weekly team meetings
- Help QA with bugs verification
