Kruti Retail Ventures LLP, also known as Kruti Coffee, is a social enterprise established in 2013. Our mission is to impact coffee growers in Koraput, Odisha, primarily tribal and organic coffee growers. We follow the Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid model to make coffee grown in Koraput sustainable for the producers and the entire value chain. In addition to our coffee production, we have also started a retail chain of coffee houses in India to showcase the high-quality Arabica coffee grown in Koraput.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Bakery Chef to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Bakery Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods for our customers. This is a full-time position based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in baking and pastry. If you are passionate about creating mouthwatering pastries, breads, and desserts, and have a creative flair in the kitchen, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Creative and artistic skills to develop unique recipes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies
• Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Create new and innovative recipes to attract customers
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in the bakery
• Train and supervise junior bakery staff
• Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
