Job description
Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Job Description: Level 2 | 4- 6 YRS Control M - Batch Scheduling | Administration & Monitoring
Knowledge on ControlM batch Scheduling
Mainframe Batch Operations will be add-on
Daily Operating System /Application alert handling and response / troubleshoot / reassigning to correct group
Adherence to customer established SLAs
Troubleshoot the alerts based on the work instructions.
To co-ordinate with the appropriate teams for resolution.
Daily health checks of the Application supported.
Periodic and timely updation of tickets with proper log comments
Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommend changes
The individual will work within Business Operations team as Batch Operator, candidate must be,
- Efficient in use of system tools for Batch Operations and Event management (i.e. BMC s Control-M/Enterprise Manager, Redwood Cronacle, Knowledge on other similar job scheduling tools will be add-on but Control-M is must)
- will be supporting more than one services lines and accounts. (Multiclient from various Domain)
Must-Have Skills: - Performing system/application heath check and Ensuring system availability to Customer as per given SLA.
- Knowledge on Basic ControlM Aministration will be preferred.
- Mainframe Batch Operations will be add-on
- Ensure Production batch schedules start and complete on time and within SLAs
- Managing Change, Incidents and Service requests
- Perform pre and post EOD communication to customer.
- Identify and fix common batch issues, and Escalate appropriate issues to relevant Teams
- Escalate batch failure, long running job to relevant team as per Documentation.
- Knowledge on batch Scheduling.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to Work 24/7 support in rotational shift
