Job description
Navan is seeking a Learning Experience Specialist to join our growing team. As a global trainer you will be responsible to deliver first class onboarding experiences for new travel agents joining Navan. In addition, this you will evaluate the effectiveness of agent learning programs delivered at outsourced vendor sites.
What You'll Do: - Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and formal reviews with team members to monitor progress, set expectations, and coach and develop skills and behaviors
- Lead and support the team responsible for delivering multi-week learning programs with periodic hands on involvement in associated tasks (administrative tasks, teaching classes, assessing performance, providing feedback, maintaining an encouraging learning environment)
- Ensure delivery of learning programs at outsourced vendor site is consistent with internal programs and meets or exceeds expectations
- Engage with stakeholders to understand learning needs and ensure learning programs are aligned with business objectives
- Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of training programs, leading the implementation of needed changes
- Actively participate in planning for full Learning Experience team including planning class dates
- Provide continuing education opportunities to the Learning Experience team to build skills and stay abreast of learning industry trends
- Interview and select the best candidate(s) for open positions on the team
What We're Looking For: - 5+ years experience responsible for creating and delivering training curriculums; preferably in a global role
- Experience in a support/contact center environment for travel or tech industry is preferred
- Thorough understanding of effective learning and development methods and ability to develop others to apply these methods in day to day work
- Project management experience
- Strong written communication skills and experience with group facilitation/ presentations
- Competency in Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Forms) and/or Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with an LMS (Learning Management System) is a plus
- A solutions-oriented mindset with flexibility and engagement to operate in a fast changing environment
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Willing to travel internationally
