Job Description : We are looking for an experienced MSSQL Developer with strong Unix Shell Scripting skills and expertise in Control M. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MSSQL databases, as well as implementing and optimizing database solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Additionally, familiarity with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Checkmark is a plus.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain MSSQL databases and database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc.).- Write complex SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to support application development and data analysis.- Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans, index utilization, and database statistics.- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data integrity problems, and connectivity issues.- Implement database security policies and procedures to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions.- Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts for automating database administration tasks and batch processing.- Utilize Control M for job scheduling, monitoring, and automation of data processing workflows.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate database changes into continuous integration and deployment pipelines.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in database development, Unix scripting, and job scheduling.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience as an MSSQL Developer, with a strong understanding of relational database concepts and principles.- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures.- Hands-on experience with Unix Shell scripting for automation and batch processing.- Familiarity with job scheduling and automation tools like Control M.- Experience with version control systems like GitHub and continuous integration tools like Jenkins is a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunities for career advancement and professional development- Dynamic and collaborative work environment- Flexible work hours- Health and wellness programs (ref:hirist.tech)
