Job Overview:
ACS Networks & Technologies seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Cyber Security Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber security principles, tools, and techniques, coupled with excellent communication and teaching skills. As a Cyber Security Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to educate employees or students on various aspects of cyber security, including but not limited to network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, incident response, and compliance regulations. Your primary goal will be to empower individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to mitigate cyber threats and protect sensitive information effectively.
Responsibilities:
● Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, handouts, exercises, and assessments, to address the diverse needs of learners.
● Deliver classroom-based or virtual training sessions on cyber security topics to individuals or groups, ensuring content is effectively communicated and understood.
● Customize training programs based on the audience's background, experience level, and organizational requirements.
● Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and threats in the field of cyber security and incorporate relevant information into training materials and sessions.
● Provide guidance and support to learners, answering questions, clarifying concepts, and offering practical insights based on real-world scenarios.
● Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and HR, to identify training needs and align training initiatives with organizational goals.
● Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and best practices related to cyber security training and awareness.
● Act as a subject matter expert, participating in industry events, workshops, and forums to share knowledge and contribute to the broader cyber security community.
● Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and feedback for reporting purposes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Cyber Security, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
● Proven experience working in the field of cyber security, with a strong understanding of security principles, practices, technologies, and methodologies.
● Previous experience in training, teaching, or instructional design, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
● Proficiency in developing training materials using various tools and platforms, such as PowerPoint, e-learning software, or learning management systems.
● Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners and create an interactive and supportive learning environment.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical application and hands-on learning experiences.
● Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to cyber security, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
● Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in cyber security training.
● Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and foster positive relationships with learners and stakeholders.
