About the Role
Zeta is looking to hire a Tax Specialist based out of Mumbai to own and be accountable for the management of end-to-end indirect tax for our group in India and overseas. You will be a part of the tax team and reporting to the tax head.
Job Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9, GSTR 9C and getting it reviewed from team leader
- Ensuring monthly tax payments
- Preparing monthly revenue reconciliation and GST GL reconciliation with Electronic credit ledger
- Update and track annual tax compliance calendar, input tax credit tracker to ensure no cash blockage and litigation tracker
- Preparing working for GST refunds and getting reviewed with team leader and following up with the GST authorities for refunds
- Having experience in tax advisory and interpretation of tax provisions
- Assisting in data preparation and submission at the time of tax department assessment/audits
- Working knowledge of drafting replies to ASMT-10, DRC-01B, show cause notices issued as per GST provisions
- Basic knowledge of USA and UAE indirect tax and Indian direct tax would be an added advantage
Skills:
- Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with various inter-departmental stakeholders to collate any required information
Experience and Qualifications:
- CA with an experience of 3-4 years post qualification in indirect tax compliance and advisory
- Efficiency of working in MS Word, Excel, Accounting software viz tally/SAP/ERP
- Big 4 experience is preferred. Industry knowledge also can be explored if candidates has advisory experience. In case of candidate from industry, the candidates must have done article ship from Big 4
