- We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, can work independently in a fast-paced environment, and can produce multiple deliverables with frequent deadlines
- Candidate should have the flexibility to learn new products and technologies quickly and have the versatility to move from project to project as needed
- An ideal candidate will have a strong interest in innovative solutions to documentation challenges in the new era of computing and IT
Job Description:
As a Technical Writer, you will:
- Research, write, and review end user documentation.
- Lead the projects - plans, reviews, mentor other junior writers.
- Research and write configurations as guides & release notes driven toward technical audience including Professional Services and others.
- Track and balance multiple assignments in an Agile development environment.
- Track and resolve documentation bugs.
- Suggest changes to UI labels that conform to company style standards.
- Interact with various Product stake holders and effectively communicate the status of the assigned tasks.
Desired skills:
We are looking for the following skills:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Science or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in technical writing.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Possess excellent writing skills and experienced in writing for global audience.
- Possess experience with Madcap Flare & Git or other similar authoring tools & CMS
- A successful team player who can manage tasks and assignments independently with little or no supervision.
- Proficiency in Camtasia, PowerPoint, Image capturing tools such as Snagit, GIMP is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of structured authoring, minimalist principles, and experience working in an agile development cycle.
