Position Details-O_SQ_04_37 Position: AM / DM Supplier Quality (EDU) Function: BPT Reports to: EDU Supplier Quality Manager Location: Ghaziabad Specifications Experience (in years) : 7-10 years Industry Preferred : Automotive / Electronic Component Manufacturing Qualifications : B.Tech / M.Tech (Electronics) Job Summary To support the Supplier Quality Manager for the EDU unit (Greenfield) for Quality Evaluations during the development of Electronic Components and continuous improvement of the Part Quality and Supplier System post SOP. Roles& responsibilities Conducting the PPAP audit at supplier end and supporting suppliers to ensure the on-time SOP of new parts. Conducting the regular supplier audits (System / Product) and ensuring the timely submission of the audit closure. Ensuring the requirements like Layout Inspection and SPC requirements etc., are being timely adhered by suppliers. Reducing the supplier ppm at Incoming and eliminating the Segregation process. Leading the CAPA for any supplier issues inhouse and at customer end and ensuring the sustainability of the submitted counter measures post validation. Ensuring the supplier meets all regulatory and company requirements during and post PPAP. Monitoring and Improving Supplier Quality Performance and performing regular system audits at suppliers' end. Upgrading the Supplier QMS and supporting the Zero-Defect Mindset drive. Ensuring the 4M adherence at supplier end, in case of any ECN/PCN, as per set standards. Functional competencies Behavioural competencies Exposure to Tier 2 Supplier Management and handling the Electronic Component suppliers. Experience in doing supplier audits like VDA, System Audits. Experience in Problem Solving Methodologies like Six Sigma, 8D and SPC. Must have experience of GD&T and doing MSA studies. Experience in trouble shoot the electrical / electronic components like Controllers, Batteries Motors, Sensors and displays.
