Job description
Experience in software design and development with degree in Computer Science from reputed institution. Expert in designing and architecting big data systems, with very strong experience in designing data lake, backend analytics pipelines. Expert in Hadoop ecosystem and different frameworks inside it – Spark, HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Apache Pig, Hive, Flume, Sqoop, ZooKeeper, Kafka Must be advanced in problem solving skills using advanced algorithms Must be well versed with any of the Java/Python programming language Must be well versed with Design patterns and Object-Oriented programming Must have exposure to NoSQL technologies (Hbase/Cassandra/MongoDB) Must have exposure to searching and indexing technologies (Solr/Elasticsearch) Must have experience in installation/working with large scale Hadoop clusters Should have worked on open-source products Good communication, problem solving & interpersonal skills. Self-starter & resourceful personality with ability to manage pressure situations Capable of providing the design and Architecture for typical business problems Out of box thinker and not just limited to the work done in the projects
Roles & Responsibilities Working closely with the Manager and stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team. Planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design. Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging. Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team. Learning and implementing solutions involving the various bigdata tools like Hadoop/ NoSQL etc. Design/ Architect/ Implement various solutions arising out of the large data processing (GB’s/ PB’s) over various NoSQL, Hadoop and MPP based products Driving various Architecture and design calls with Big Data customersJob tags
