Job description
Responsibilities
- Client interaction :
- Conduct initial meetings and interviews with clients to understand their sustainability goals, challenges, and industry context.
- Assist senior consultants in proposal development and presentation to clients.
- Manage client communication by keeping them informed on project progress, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback.
- Attend client meetings and participate in workshops, actively listening and taking notes.
- Research and analysis :
- Conduct research on industry best practices, sustainability standards, and relevant regulations.
- Analyze data related to the client's sustainability performance, such as energy consumption, waste generation, or greenhouse gas emissions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other deliverables summarizing research findings and recommendations.
- Project support :
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability strategies for clients.
- Assist with project tasks such as data collection, stakeholder engagement, and report writing.
- Prepare presentations and visuals to support senior consultants during client presentations.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure effective communication within the consulting team.
Additional responsibilities may include:
· Developing expertise in specific sustainability areas: This could include renewable energy, circular economy, carbon footprinting, or social impact assessment.
· Contributing to thought leadership: Conduct research and write articles, blogs, or white papers on relevant sustainability topics.
· Supporting business development: Participate in industry events, network with potential clients, and contribute to proposals.
Qualifications
Capabilities/Expertise - Sustainability/ESG domain expertise + Industry experience - Retail/CPG, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Agri etc + Thought leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - blogs, whitepapers etc, technology enablement/Saas platforms, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Academic background- Masters/MBA
Experience -1 to 2 years
