About the job: As a Senior UX Program Manager within our Target UX Team, you’ll be at the forefront of Target’s evolving digital experience, shaping it for our guests and contributing to business growth. In this role, you will leverage your design program management expertise to develop or adopt processes on how we structure, sequence, and prioritize our work. You will organize and track our capacity, allocation, and track the impact of our work. You will contribute to management reports that our UX leaders will leverage with our partners. As a Senior UX Operations Manager on the Target UX team you will play a role in ensuring that our work aligns with business objectives, priorities and timelines. Responsibilities: · Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of UX leaders, product designers, content designers, engineers, product managers, accessibility consultants, data analysts and UX researchers · Establishing a clear scheme of design delivery, helping to decide who needs to see the work, and when · Contributing to the standardization, interpretation, and guardianship of Target’s design operations · Defining objectives and desired results with product, engineering and business partners · Effectively using data and insights to identify critical gaps and weaknesses of existing processes · Helping to create a framework that would optimize day-to-day workflow—maximizing engagement and reducing duplicated efforts · Writing and maintaining documentation on the processes and models needed to operationalize UX and amplify the value of design across the organization · Tracking the impact of our work to help the team evaluate opportunities for continued improvements · Working with other teams across Target to ensure a cohesive operations strategy across the different silos and roles About you: · Proven experience as a design program manager or senior design program manager with portfolio showcasing successful design operations and / or project management work · Proficient knowledge in UX and product design process, as well as structuring and planning work, and coordinating activates throughout the design process · Advanced proficiency in building meaningful relationships with cross functional partners, influencing peers and leaders · Developing ability to use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach · Proficient knowledge with modern product development methodologies (i.e. Agile and Scrum) · You are developing the ability to communicate how design connects to, serves, and improves business outcomes · You are intellectually curious and exhibit a growth mindsetJob tags
