Job description

What are we looking for?

What we want is to hire someone who is Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated for high performance, has experience handling multiple legal authorities, their terms, validating clauses and ability to protect the company against any inherent legal risks maintaining data confidentiality with a strong sense of professional integrity.

To take it further, in an ideal world, we are not just looking for someone with legal exposure, effective communication and analytical skills but also keen observation on internal controls and improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Should be well versed in the process of Contract Drafting Good understanding of Contract, Commercial, Arbitration, IPR, Privacy Laws Hands on experience and knowledge for drafting Non Disclosure Agreements and Data Protection Agreements. Willingness to travel for work purposes Liaison with all legal and government authorities in order to help the company resolve matters. Need to attend court hearings for various ongoing cases and litigations. Negotiation with customer legal team on various legal clauses in the contracts. Educate policies and procedures to legal teams. Track and communicate project status and issues to legal teams. Enhance and document current processes and best practices. Train and manage contract staff, Trainees and other Analysts on procedures to meet project deadlines and goals. Develop legal review business proposals by coordinating with clients. Function as cross-functional legal and business team member. Determine, procure and organize attorney and client information on legal and business issues. Communicate to the Law Department on legal matters after attorney review.

Education & Experience

We are looking for you if you are / have:

LLB (6 to 12 Years Experience) LLM preferably in business/competition/commercial/taxation/company laws (Prefered) or CS. 4+ years of PQE with at least 4 years in a technology company as an in-house counsel / CS. Prior contract negotiation experience is highly preferred. Strong organization skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion are also required. Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are a must. Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines and adapt to changing priorities, operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Demonstrated proficiency in Google Workspace Flexibility to travel and work evening hours at times as needed.
