Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative design solutions for our clients. This is a full-time position based in Chakan, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly SOLIDWORKS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to creatively ideate and problem-solve
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of drafting and drawing standards
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Roles And Responsibilities - Create design concepts and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product designs
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design constraints
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the successful implementation of designs
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve design issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design engineering
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality design solutions

Job Description - Develop detailed product designs based on customer requirements, taking into account functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturing feasibility.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of sheet metal components and assemblies.
Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability, ensuring that the final product meets performance requirements while minimizing material waste and production time.
Perform tolerance analysis to ensure that sheet metal components can be manufactured within specified tolerances and that they will fit together correctly during assembly.
