Job description

Node API Developer - CONTRACT 6 MONTHS. Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js.
Architect efficient and scalable server-side systems to support a variety of applications and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and specifications.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security protocols for APIs.
Optimize API performance for speed and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues with API functionality and performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js development.
Participate in software architecture and design discussions.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Node.js Developer, with a strong understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming concepts.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js.
Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, etc.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with other web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
