Job description
Hiring EV Motor Design Head for reputed Tier 1 automotive manufacturing industry at Chennai Experience 20 to 25 years o Responsible for design, development of eV traction Motors o Responsible for Design to Cost, Quality & reliability targets for e Motors o Responsible for new designs / next generation starter motor designs. o Responsible for the CAD/CAE & Component specialist team. o Responsible for the e Motor development deliverable milestones o Responsible for application and system engineering o Responsible for selection of right EV motor based on customer input data. o Overseeing the development and maintenance of team competence o Responsible for BOM creation, 2D/3D drawings and models, DFMEA preparation. o Responsible for conducting design reviews. Strong knowledge on Motor Design Tools (Motor CAD, SPEED, and Motor Solve) · Based on the inputs from customers, develop/innovate the next generation motor technologies. · Responsibile for delivery of Simulation & CAE, Motor design, prototypes & motor validations teams as they would be directly reporting to this resource · E Motor design and development as per time plan
