Job description
Responsibilities
- Support the Adani Group Communications Team to craft a strategy that would spread the brand's message and amplify the brand across the world. Develop, implement, and monitor a cohesive annual marketing plan for the AAHL Company's portfolio (for both existing and new airports globally), delivering overall company's plans including increased brand awareness, strong customer acquisition & retention, revenue growth, and business expansion.
- Set clear current & long-term Corporate Communications, Brand, & PR goals & objectives for internal teams that help drive customer research & define target audiences and encourage use of data and insights to make evidence-based branding decisions via ORM and Customer Voice. Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth via Brand Equity Studies.
- Develop a scalable growth strategy while also optimizing a blend of channels to hit growth targets efficiently. Design and review the Corporate Communications & Social Media department's budget, to realise maximum returns. Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the AAHL company's objectives.
- Develop and implement effective brand marketing campaigns, branding, and communication strategies. Monitor all brand marketing campaigns consistently and improve them when necessary. Define, measure, and report the performance of all media channels/ campaigns and assess against ROI and KPI goals including Biz understanding, relationship, counsel and content.
- Collaborate effectively to build the brand. Promote the AAHL Company as a leading airport operator to the target audience globally and oversee customer-facing communication across the Company's website, blogs, press, digital media, and social channels. Ensure good quality & accurate content reaches the right consumer timely.
- To Be the Digital expert. Devise & implement social media advertising strategies to ensure that the organization approaches the correct audience and maximizes its return on investment. Co-Create policies for SEO to ensure the company outranks competing pages.
- Build, oversee and manage the company's media relations including creative, public relations, digital, social media, and support all other methods of advertising.
- Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective Non Aero marketing events.
- Partner on corporate communications to deliver a consistent message for the brand Adani Group.
- Supervise the company's market research, community relations and guest service. Identify market potentials and data analytics by leading market and customer research. Work with agencies that bring expertise in business intelligence, trend tracking, etc.
- Understand changing market dynamics and prepare the AAHL company by developing and implementing strategies to meet the changes in the marketplace. Analyse the competition and review results of market research thereby adjusting the company's marketing strategy accordingly.
- Develop strategic alliances/partnerships to support marketing initiatives. Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.
- Partner with the Marketing & Human Resources team to attract, develop and retain diverse, high-performing talent that will not only lead the organization today but also strengthen the bench for the future growth of airports.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic counsel. Represent the voice of the customer within the organization, prepare regular reports & presentations, bring insights to cross-functional stakeholders across the executive leadership team and at AAHL. Ensure alignment with key stakeholders on mutual goals and drive adoption through a variety of Corporate Communications efforts.
- Continuously evaluate the airport(s) involvement in various marketing mediums. Also develop strong working relationships across airport(s) to proactively ensure effective positioning for them in the market. Enable development of brand specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to drive revenue and meet brand objectives (including, creative marketing projects, including social media, editorial content, public relations, cultural partnerships, and special events).
- Work effectively in a highly complex & matrixed organization. Maintain positive relationships and high visibility in relative business groups.
Qualifications Qualifications : Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
Experience - An ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree in Corporate Communications & Marketing and come with over 15 years of experience in Corporate Communication, Branding & Insights, having worked in the luxury space.
- Strong grounding in classic Corporate Communications & Marketing skills. Track record of developing and executing marketing objectives and strategies.
- An in-depth understanding of marketing including digital, social media, public relations, loyalty, strategic alliances and partnerships, events and promotions and a passion for brand building and positioning. Ability to provide forward-thinking ideas to create brand differentiation.
- Experience managing a variety of projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns, digital marketing & social media techniques, communications as well as events. Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of customer purchase funnels and luxury consumer behaviour. Luxury mindset with a solid marketing background; preferably someone with a strong network within the luxury world of opinion formers.
- Track record of driving the marketing function with a keen focus on monetisation and overall ROI. Demonstrated experience in influencing the direct/owned channel strategies of companies to drive results.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google AdWords.
- Experience with CRM software and digital and social media marketing tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of current marketing, mobile and technology best practices. Relevant exposure in the new digital space including online marketing, advertising, etc.
- Significant demonstrable experience in consumer insight and planning and analysis of large data sets.
- Experience of managing media and understand crisis communications.
- Experience of managing a team for reasonable scale.
- Experience of working with multinationals with highly complex matrix structures and a strong focus on compliance & processes.
- International exposure would be an advantage. Experience in either aviation, hospitality or broader travel industry will be an added advantage.
