Job Description Of City Sales Manager _ Sales Operations He/She will be responsible for driving revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, and external sales activities. Primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with businesses, organizations, and event planners to promote cinema experiences and drive ticket sales. The ideal candidate will be strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the entertainment industry. Business Development Identify and target potential target clients, organizations and event planners to establish partnerships and sales opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to implement strategies to expand the cinema’s reach and drive ticket sales through external channels. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential leads within the cinema industry. Partnership Management Negotiate partnership agreements, sponsorship deals, and promotional packages with external stake holders. Collaborate with marketing and promotions team to develop customized marketing campaigns and promotional materials for partners. Maintain ongoing communication with partners to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for collaboration and growth. Event Sales Identify opportunities to host private screenings, corporate events, fundraisers and other special events at the cinemas. Work closely with event planners and clients to coordinate logistics, pricing and promotional activities. Provide exceptions customer service and support throughout the event planning and execution process. Sales Presentations and Proposals Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentation and proposals to prospective clients. Customize sales pitches and promotional packages to meet the specific needs and objectives of each client. Follow up on leads and inquires in a timely and professional manner to close sales and secure partnerships. Sales Reporting and analysis Track sales performance and Metrics, including revenue targets, conversion rates and ROI on partnerships and sponsorships. Provide regular reports and updates to RGM/COO on sales activities, pipeline status, and upcoming opportunities. Networking and Relationship Building Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build relationships and promote the cinema’s offerings. Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with existing clients and partners to ensure repeated business and referrals. Act as a rand ambassador of the cinema’s representing its values and offerings in a positive and professional manner. Revenue Objectives: They would be plugged to a specific cinema. The responsibility would be to generate sales and closures to grow admits / GCC for multiple cinemas. We would have targets and measurements to look at revenue generation. Similar to hotel sales or retail sales, 12 X or 15X of annual CTC could be base benchmark. This GRM would be in larger high footfall/ high turnover cinemas to absorb cost easily while giving a opportunity to help cinemas boost business and revenue Avenues.
