Job Overview: The Position of

Associate Director

provides

Equipment and Tooling Solution

for Green Hydrogen – Electrolyzer manufacturing industry.

Roles & Responsibilities: Providing innovative solutions on the tooling and equipment requirement for manufacturing electrolyzer component, assembly, and testing activities across the various requirement in India. Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute the Company and team goals and objectives. Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Work closely with engineering and process teams to understand product specifications and design tooling solutions that align with those requirements. Design, develop, and optimize tools, fixtures, molds, and dies used in manufacturing processes. Ensure that the developed tools are efficient, cost-effective, safety and meet quality standards. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop and visualize tooling concepts. Collaboration is key to ensuring that tools are compatible with process requirement for achieving desired outcomes. Continuously evaluate and analyse manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, enhanced safety and quality enhancement. Propose and implement modifications to existing tools and processes to optimize safety and production. Conduct testing and validation of new tools and equipment to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. This may involve conducting FAT at vendor place prior to dispatch of the tool and SAT after installation and commissioning. Collaborate with product designers and manufacturing engineers to create prototypes and test new tooling concepts before full-scale production. Collaborating with Process Engineers and Production Engineers during the validation and trials of the equipment and process. Provide support for troubleshooting issues related to tooling, diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production efficiency. Additionally, they develop maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that tools remain in good working condition. Responsible for the availability of the tool and accountable for the periodic maintenance of the tool by collaborating with maintenance. Work within budget constraints to develop cost-effective tooling solutions without compromising safety, quality and performance. Maintain thorough documentation of tooling designs, specifications, and procedures. Ensure that tooling processes and equipment comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Provide training and support to production personnel on the proper use of tools and equipment. This includes educating operators on best practices, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures to maximize efficiency and safety. Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and advanced tooling techniques. Continuous learning and professional development are essential for staying competitive. Communicates Effectively - by speaking clearly and expressing him, herself or themselves well in groups; conveys information in a clear and concise manner; conveys information in a manner which different audiences can understand.

Education & Work Experience: Graduate in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical with min 15 years of experience is preferred. Preferred having work experience in Automobile sector or semi-conductor industry or EV/Battery manufacturing industry or Green Hydrogen industry. Experience in design and development of SPMs, Manufacturing Line Automations, Jigs and Fixtures, chemical processing equipment is preferred.
