HR Employee Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department by aiding and guidance to employees regarding various HR-related matters. They serve as a point of contact for employees, ensuring their needs are met and HR policies and procedures are followed.
What will your job look like?
- Responsible for managing and processing payroll activities globally within the organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely inputs shared with Finance team for payment of employee salaries.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in employment status.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information.
- Stay updated on relevant payroll laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance for regions – EMEA/US/APAC/India
- Generate payroll reports and assist in financial audits as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and handle sensitive data with integrity.
- Additionally, may require in assisting with various HR functions such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
- Support HR team in maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data entry.
- Assist with HR reporting and data analysis as needed.
- Required to work on projection and accruals.
All you need is...
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an HR payroll specialist or in a similar role (handling operational processes and systems), minimum 6-7 years of experience.
- Experience in managing and consolidating payroll for EMEA/APAC/US/India region will be added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with HR functions and employee data management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Certification in payroll administration (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
