Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Test Lead to join our team. As a Technical Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of testers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality test solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing, expertise in Oracle JDEdwards, and experience in Agile methodology. This is a senior-level role requiring 7 to 10 years of experience. The employment type for this role is Contract-To-Hire and the job location is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing
- Strong expertise in Oracle JDEdwards (Expert level)
- Extensive knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience in retail domain and retail-related testing
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience with Selenium automation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Certifications in software testing are a plus
Roles And Responsibilities - Lead a team of testers and coordinate testing activities
- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Automate test cases using Java Selenium automation
- Provide technical guidance and support to testing team members
- Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality delivery
- Identify and escalate any issues or risks related to testing
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions for defects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in testing
